On a whim I disabled the protected sites after going through most of the troubleshooting that was done on this thread. Restart Windows. You probably won't run into that issue, but if you do, you can just disable it again. As soon as I run NRT, Internet Explorer works perfectly again. I did the restore advanced settings and then did a Reset Internet Explorer Settings to their default condition. But we do notexperience the website hang issue with Protected Mode enabled so it appears something may have changed in the updates or the Copying of the default user profile. I can reproduce this bug on windows 10 v10586 builds without any additional software or drivers installed. Enabling Protected Mode makes them stop working. Norton - Please fix ASAP - this is not good enough!
