HP Pavilion Audio Stutter Help
in General Support Hi, I'm experiencing fairly regular stutters while playing either video or audio files when these are saved on my HDD. That's the only thing I can think of to explain a hardware problem. Audio Stutter in Sound & Audio Hello, I've seen many threads around these forums regarding this issue but I didn't come across a "fix". My situation is the following: Every now and then, the audio of the PC stutters, its like it skips kinda when you're listening to music from a bad CD.
Also, System Restore will only help if the unit was working fine before. Blowing it out and or cleaning it will help performance issues. Additional batteries are affected.

- I keep all my video and audio files on my HDD because my SSD obviously has a lot less space on it.
Also, the Beats Audio icons have disappeared, and nothing shows up when I search my computer for Beats Audio. greatSo here we go again.First; driver version:18.104.22.16840 latestI have been tested a lots of drivers older (Win7 x64) to newer ones, turned off any audio enhancemets Smax4PNP run service, everithing on I didn't hear that sound afterwards. so I use the latest two until WMP gets a fix or something.

Go back to the Control Panel, click on Device Manager, open up the Sound Video and Game Contollers tree, right click on your Sound Card and select uninstall. Sometimes it goes 10 or 15 minutes without any problem, but often it's more frequent than that - and it's very, very annoying. I've tried 20+ other so called "fixes" in the 2 weeks since getting my new laptop. I'll leave the power cable plugged in and eventually I'll have my usual audio problems. It happens most often when I'm playing a song or podcast in iTunes, but it also occurs sometimes when I'm watching a video online. I don't know if this would apply to you but I use a wireless mouse, and I find that if I unplug it and plug it back in again, that fixes Not sure why but today the sound is fine ...
