Windows 10 just made it worse. and qualcomm atheros QCA9565 802.11 B/G/N NETWORK ADAPTER (as stated in the network and sharing center)However on the back of my laptop it says the model is a qualcomm atheros QCWB335 I will try my best to help you with this issue. - Check here : http://www.intel.com/support/wireless/wlan/sb/CS-025332.htm and then contact an HP tech via chat and they will download and install the correct new driver from intel's website.
